Coiled Tubing Technology Day of the Gazprom Neft

On June 13-15, 2023, in St. Petersburg, as part of increasing hydrocarbon production, selecting and implementing new technologies, and exchanging existing experience, a Coiled Tubing technology day was held at the Gazprom Neft Science and Technology Center.

The event was attended by representatives of subsidiaries of Gazprom Neft PJSC — Gazpromneft-Khantos LLC, Messoyakhaneftegaz JSC, Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz JSC, etc. In their reports, they voiced the main problems that arise during the repair and operation of wells, as well as technological challenges associated with the use of coiled tubing, which require innovative solutions. Also, presentations were made by the partners of Gazprom Neft PJSC — oilfield service companies, manufacturers of equipment and machinery from Russia, Belarus, China.

During the technological day, participants discussed well workover technologies using Coiled Tubing, technological solutions at autonomous fields, innovative equipment for Coiled Tubing services, downhole tools, completion systems, etc.

Packer Service LLC presented a report on the company’s successful experience in performing work using Coiled Tubing on stand-alone projects. A total of 42 speakers spoke and the total number of participants exceeded 100 people.
